Art 192 ONLINE: Photoshop/Digital Imaging

Welcome Fall 2024 Students

There is no required textbook for you to buy. All of the lessons and coursework will be viewed, read, or downloaded on Canvas.

However, you are required to have a working copy of Adobe Photoshop (“Photoshop Elements” or iPad/iPhone versions will not work) at HOME, either running on a Mac or PC capable of running Photoshop. You cannot use Photoshop on an iPad, Chomebook, or similar device. There will not be an opportunity to use Photoshop at Cerritos College. You must have access to Photoshop at home.

If you are not ready to buy a Photoshop Subscription, a free download that is fully functional for exactly 7 days is available on the Adobe website. This software can only be installed once and it will only work for 7 days but it is free. It’s available for Mac or PC.

When you need assistance with any lesson I will be available through email.

As you continue your progress on your modules, do not forget to backup your work constantly on Google Drive.

Always visit this website on a weekly (or daily for Summer students) basis to ensure you do not fall behind or miss information. You should reasonably expect as much as 4 hours of work per week each week. For Summer students it can be as high as 12-18 hours due to the fact that the class is only 6 weeks.
